Owwwwwwwwwch

There's blood!

mutter mumble bl**dy rose bushes

Gardens looking a whole lot better

Another hour tomorrow and one complete side should be about done.
Which brings me to the hillside gardens...

siiiiiiiigh.

The Cow was quite jovial today.
Indeed, she even laughed at something I said.
Life surprises me sometimes.

The ride last night...

Tiruamea hill, with Bella for company.  I was wrong.  She did nothing but whinge.  But we got there in the end.  She did it!!  (TGFT)
Post the hill, I biked back home with her, dropped her there, and proceeded off for my own ride.  This one up and over the Fonterra hill and down the other side.  Same one I did one day last week.  I really needed to get out withOUT Bella grizzling at me!  Either one of the evenings rides are enough on their own - so by the time I arrived home an hour and a half later, my bum was very grateful to get off the seat of my bike.
Took some panadol and had a hot shower before even considering moving my body.
Still, I'm ok today
Bum included

Happened to run a rabbit over last night, (in the car, not on my bike!!) stopped, went back, Bella collected it, held it by its hind legs out the window, and on we travelled home.
Meals on wheels...
The cats were ever-so-grateful.
Today at work one of the girls said to me: "Good grief - what happened to you last night?  There's blood all over your car - did you hit something?  Is everything ok??"
I hadn't thought about checking the passengers door - it was after dark - about 9.40pm when we arrived home - and today when I saw the mess I was horrified.
Front passengers door, back sliding door, up on the windows, on the side panelling - you name it - the blood and muck was everywhere.
Oops.
Lucky no one foned the Police and dobbed me in as a hit-and-run driver!
Might have taken a bit of explaining.

About to take Bella to a foto shoot.

Sayonara.

Something I saw and liked:

"Love without passion is dreary; passion without love is horrific."

Hear hear.
